Terms of use

Professionals and the Verified mark

We checked this person's identity and, where shown, their professional licence. We do not vouch for the quality of their work. A professional is listed only while their check is current, and a licensed professional’s page is served only while a current licence check stands. We may withdraw a check, and with it the listing, at any time, for example if a document turns out to be false or a licence is withdrawn.

We are not a party to any agreement between a professional and a client, we take no booking or payment between them, and we are not responsible for the work or advice given. Check what you are agreeing to with the professional directly.

Your account

You must be the person your profile describes, and the documents you send must be genuine and your own. You must have the right to the content you publish and, where your profession requires a licence, hold a current one. We may suspend a profile or site that is false, misleading or unlawful.

Paid plans

Building your site is free. Publishing needs an active paid plan and a current verification.
