About Digital Ethiopia Professionals

Digital Ethiopia Professionals is for independent professionals in Ethiopia: designers, developers, writers, consultants, lawyers, psychologists and others. Each has their own website, built with the same tools as every business on Digital Ethiopia, and is listed here once we have checked who they are. It is run from Addis Ababa. You can reach us at support@digitalethiopia.info.

What Verified means

We checked this person's identity and, where shown, their professional licence. We do not vouch for the quality of their work.

• Identity verified: we checked the person’s ID. This is what designers, developers, writers and consultants get.
• Licence verified: we also checked a current professional licence. This is required for lawyers, doctors, psychologists, accountants and engineers, who cannot publish without it.

A check lasts up to 12 months, or until the licence expires if that is sooner. When it lapses, a professional is no longer listed, and a licensed professional’s page goes offline until it is renewed.

What we are not

We are not a marketplace or a middleman. You contact a professional directly and agree the work with them; we take no booking or payment and are not a party to it. We do not vouch for the quality of anyone’s work or advice.
